One Health Global Alliance (OHGA), formerly ICOPHAI (2011-present), introduces a unified platform for consulting, learning access, implementation, and global networking. OHGA aims to create a robust and scalable network platform to accelerate professional connectivity across interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral dimensions for effective response against emerging and re-emerging global health threats. This comprehensive approach appeals to a wide range of stakeholders, including academic and research institutions, industry, federal and state government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and individual professionals (practitioner, scientists and policy-makers).
OHGA is founded upon 15+ years of highly credible global consortia through various existing platforms including the International Congress on Pathogens at the Human Animal Interface (ICOPHAI) since 2011; One Health Eastern Africa Research Training (OHEART) program since 2011; Global One Health Summer Institute (GOHSI) since 2012; the Ohio State Global One Health, LLC since 2016; the recently established platforms including Global One Solutions, LLC (Ohio, USA) and MEKARI Global One Ltd ( Nairobi, Kenya).
