Professor Oglevee is the Academic Director of the Fisher Executive MBA Program at The Ohio State University and a highly regarded educator in venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, and entrepreneurial finance. He teaches across Executive, Graduate, and Undergraduate programs, and leads international executive education courses in regions including India, China, Europe, and Africa. A recipient of numerous teaching honors, Professor Oglevee has earned Fisher’s top awards, including the Pace Setter’s Teaching Award and multiple Outstanding Faculty Awards. Prior to academia, he built a career as an entrepreneur, venture capital professional, and Wall Street executive with firms including Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. He continues to consult with early-stage companies on financing, valuation, and business planning. He holds both an MBA and a BS from The Ohio State University.
