Dr. Enrique is a Professor of Food safety and public health at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been a very active member of the global One Health consortium over the past 10-years, initially joined as a Norman Borlaug fellow in 2011. He has been an active member of the International Congress on Pathogens at the Human Animal Interface (ICOPHAI) since 2013, GOHi training activities in Brazil (2017, 2018) and also Collaborated in the last four Global One Health Summer Institute in Ethiopia (2018), Kenya (2019), and online 2020-2024. As a long time active member of the network, and a leader in One Health, he will be a great leader spearheading OHGA activities in Mexico.
