Dr. Masika is the Global Partnership and Advocacy Lead at OHGA, where she forges strategic alliances, and drives high-level advocacy to amplify the organization’s impact on global health issues. She is also a Steering Committee member on the Quadripartite-led AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform, is an Advisory Committee member of the Alliance for Human and Animal Co-Existence (AHAC), an e-trainer with FAO on Women’s Leadership in One Health and an alumna of the Gates Foundation WomenLift Health Leadership Fellowship. She serves as the Global Health Policy Manager at the World Federation for Animals, leading global policy engagement with WHO on the Pandemic Treaty; UNGA on the Political declaration on AMR, and UNEP on the nexus of health and the Triple planetary crisis. In her earlier career, she served as Chief Veterinary Officer within Kenya’s Ministry of Agriculture, Epidemiologist in Kenya’s National COVID 19 Preparedness and Response taskforce, researcher on zoonotic virus in wild primates at the Institute of Primate Research and wildlife conservation. She brings over a decade of experience working across government, NGOs, international institutions and the UN.
