Dr. Djikeng serves as a board advisor to the One Health Global Alliance (OHGA). He is currently the Director General of the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), a Professor at The Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh, UK, and a Distinguished Professor at the University of South Africa (College of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences).
Dr. Djikeng is one of the founding members of OHGA’s predecessor, ICOPHAI, and has been actively engaged with the Alliance since 2011. He also serves as Managing Director of the CGIAR Resilient Agri-Food Systems (RAFS) initiative, where he leads research and innovation efforts across all 12 CGIAR Centers in low- and middle-income countries, focusing on sustainable agricultural development and resilient food systems. In this role, he has guided the transition of CGIAR research from Initiatives to Programs and Accelerators.
