Strategic Implementation: Planning to Execution

OHGA strives to build robust global health partnership networks to support the strategic implementation of healthcare innovative programs. For more than 15-years, OHGA leaders and experts have enabled partners to engage in the One Health ecosystem and co-create impactful knowledge and innovation. In order to facilitate the goals, resources are critically important.
As such, OHGA works closely with partners to mobilize financial resources using innovative public private partnership approaches. The key mechanisms include:

Research Sponsorship:

OHGA will support partners to identify extramural funds and develop exceptional proposals for large-scale research (clinical, basic and applied), surveillance and laboratory capacity building on pressing health issues, with recognition for partnership contributions.

Grant and contract Funding:

OHGA leadership and experts will work with partner counterparts to facilitate garnering non-competitive funding through Intergovernmental organizations, foundations and government agencies for large-scale projects responding to the sponsor’s strategic goals and priorities.

Crowdfunding:

This method involves engaging individuals and multi-sectoral organizations as well as utilizing intramural funds from OHGA internal sources to contribute to critical priority initiatives in LMIC, such as pandemic preparedness and response capability strengthening at the global scale.

Event Sponsorship:

One way OHGA will mobilize resources to sustain its impact globally will include branding and visibility by convening conferences, webinars, and workshops at in-person, virtual and hybrid formats.

Content Sponsorship:

OHGA will continue to co-develop training modules with partner institutions that align with sponsor goals and thus generating necessary financial resources to sustain impactful activities.

Healthcare infrastructure strengthening for sustainable impact

OHGA will facilitate partnership among industry, academic and public institutions to establish equitable diagnostic and therapeutic laboratory systems when there are critical needs. We bring in resources and experts to LMIC when such support and partnership is critically needed.

Technology integration:

We promote technology integration through implementation of advanced and accelerated approaches such as predictive modelling, artificial intelligence in the process of healthcare and enhance efficiency.

Quality care and treatment:

By fostering specialized workforce development in global health in areas spanning from communicable diseases to cancer and other non-communicable diseases, OHGA will support partner institutions through integrated industry, university and public sector partnerships. We aim to foster partnership that will lead to high quality services and enhance the health outcomes of patients.
